So much going on here! Carpet is installed. Painting and staining are done. LVP is just about half done. Siding is over half done. Tomorrow the trim guy comes back and finishes up the trim work and hangs the doors (including the barn doors on the pantry, master bath and closet)! We are absolutely exhausted but are close to the finish line - moving in this weekend! Anyone willing and available to help - come on out!! 🤣

EDIT: We have been finishing up all of the electrical ourselves and only have the three pendant lights above the island left to install. Bathroom fixtures are almost fully installed too. Whew!! 🥵

9/29 Update: We are seeing improvements every day! These pictures are a little behind as of today but I’m going to share anyway! Drywall is done and textured. Kitchen cabinets were delivered last week - see the picture of them stacked up in the garage. Trim carpenters have been working diligently all week and they will finish up on Tuesday. Painters will start on Wednesday and then flooring will go in! Siding will be starting in a little over a week so we are nearing the end of this crazy process! We have a LOT we need to finish ourselves (mechanical, electrical, etc.) so we aren’t in the “sit back and relax” mode yet! We know it will all be worth it but we have to remind ourselves A LOT!!

8/15 update: LOTS happening with the renovation so wanted to post an update. We were finally able to get the concrete guys out to pour the footing for the sunroom addition and that is all framed in and new roof and shingles are on!! Laundry room addition is framed in and opening from house to the sunroom is done. Interior framing for the sunroom is going in and framing for the pantry and entry way soon! All new electric and hvac are in the works thanks to my super hero hubby!! New water lines are mostly done. Inspection is coming up soon so fingers crossed that all goes well! Lots of progress and we’re so excited!!

7/18 update: We have a tray ceiling in the bedroom and concrete footing going in for the sunroom expansion, floor framing is in for the laundry room addition and front door and my office windows are in. Also, lots of plumbing, electric and HVAC stuff going in thanks to Tracy Raske and Nathan Gillmore! We are making progress!! 👏🏻

6/28/23 Update:

WE HAVE NEW WALLS GOING UP!! 🎉👏🏻 And this is the first doorway we have ever had on our bedroom. Huge milestone! And walls are up for a bigger master bathroom. It’s so nice to see rebuilding after all of the tearing down that has happened the past two weeks. We’re so excited to watch the progress in the good direction now!
