Im sorry Ive quiet ever since the house fire but were officially back home!!! And guess what?? We have our first baby(Ram) sheep of 2026. Mama did a great job 🥰.. Ekk how exciting 🥰 Lelanda Lopez

OMG yay!!! We're finally out of the baby ram streek and we have a baby ewe lamb 🥰. She's still wet and fresh as we just found her arriving to the property now. We just seperated her and mama from the herd so they can bond and all. I'm super excited!!! What a great day to be born 🥰

The wonders of being a farmer. I do apologize for being very quiet but we did have a house fire 6 weeks ago and life has been very hectic. But we've been making things happen even if hard or complicated. So our updates on our sheep's is another ewe had twins!!! We thought the lamb ram escaped his enclosure when we found this baby with the others. So we grabbed it and once we saw the wet umbilical cord area we knew it was a new born. So we went to the enclosure to put mama and baby up to find another white lamb. Again thinking it was the 2 week old lamb but nope. God blessed us with again another set of twins but this time they're both rams. Mama has the biggest utters full of milk so I have no doubt that these babies will do great. She will be sharing a enclosure with the other ewe who had twins. Sadly th3 black twin did pass away. It was a super freezing day and she found a hole to escape out of and was left over night sadly. We found her the next evening when we went to do our rounds on the farm. We tried to save her but she passed in our arms 20 minutes later. So now this makes us with 4 lamb rams lol. We're definitely being blessed with these rams yall. We're definitely happy with everything even in consideration of the conditions.

Omg we have a baby ram 🥰 that was born today.. How cute 😍.. We had our first snow ❄️ today and our first ever lamb born to us. I can't wait to keep learning and getting experiences with my sheep. My children want to call him snow so snow it is..

It's been a rough weekend for Morenas Rabbitry. We were excited for this doe to be kindling. Ugh but she had all 7 kits on the wire. 3 dead and 4 I warmed up with the balloons God's gifted me lol. That trick always seems to work especially if I'm busy out in the barn lol. I just tuck them in there and keep working. So I was hoping that saved the 4 out of 7 but sadly 2 of the 4 I found dead later on Saturday. As of Sunday night I took the last to inside since mama wasn't feeding them. The lord as my witness I tried to hold mama over them but I think they're soo stressed from being chilled they arent latching. So I brought them inside to hand feed them with KMR kitten milk mixed with breastmilk. Ugh I love the farming life but we're always learning. So I kinda think I over fed one and found it dead this morning 😭. So I'm down to 1 kit out of 7 and I'm warming it up now.
