Oh the drama!! They had only been out of mixed food 1 day! And they had layer pellets and they free range all day. A couple of these handsome young guys need their own flocks (please!)if you are close to NWA and need a rooster.

Hey PG and Farmington!!! Have you always wanted to try Sourdough bread or mine and haven't gotten a chance? In honor of a holiday weekend I have put out bread at free food pantries in Prairie Grove and in Farmington. Grab it up quick, besides being yummy, it is homemade with no preservatives so it needs to be eaten this week! I put in some cans of Black eyed peas too and honestly some black eyed peas and Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough there is a meal right there!!

Goodness! It has been a busy week! Getting my son going through his first week of homeschooling and adjusting everything else around that!! However I was able to Homestead ing group meeting were Maribel Diaz-Snyder provided elderberries and taught us how to prepare elderberries to make elderberry medicine, make Fire Cider for cold and flu season and apple cider vinegar! And another day go to plant swap, getting free mint, seed, canvas and day lillies from the Friends of Farmington Library. I love and greatly appreciate that folks are will to share their knowledge and resources so that others may succeed! I'm so thankful for the welcome, support and encouragement I have received this week!! I just love ❤️this community!

Good morning!! The Farmer's Market is here and open! We are all ready for the parade to start at 9 am so we are set up a bit differently today. Lots of goodies here at the Farmer's Market, come on out!

If you can't get downtown today and you want bread let me know. I can get a bake for tomorrow.

Good morning 🌄 The Sourdough is on it's second rise and getting ready for baking!! Yesterday was a busy day my son's first day of his Coop for this school year! Great to be back but that meant adjusting my bread making schedule to mixing the dough early before, refrigerating, and shaping after dinner then back in the frig over night. I'll be interested to see if it affects the taste any, what do you think?

So should I expect her to start laying eggs after eating my layer feed? 😅😉 Yes, this 100 degree heat and drought conditions here in Arkansas has this Momma deer braving the dogs (in the garage in front of their fan) and looking for food. Her babies were grazing close by.

Instead of working on my son's homeschool lesson plans while I wait him, as he takes a physics and bouldering class, I'm playing with AI (I do try to use it in moderation) I like adding a logo frame to some my pictures.
