This video is for a GameCube that will not read discs. When you put a disc in it will spin up but it will bring you to the startup screen and read "no disc". This is solved by adjusting the intensity of the laser by gently lowering the resistance going to it.
The tools I used are a Phillips head screwdriver #2 and #1, a micro flathead screwdriver, a security screw screwdriver bit (purchased online), a multimeter that can measure resistance, tweezers and of course an old CRT television.

Welcome to See if I can, where I plan to show you how I restore, rebuild, and repair my projects. My name is Joseph, and I want to share with you my experiences and show you how-to tips and tricks for DIY projects.

I enjoy working with all sorts of materials and new challenges, from electronics and game systems to antique restorations and more!

I am a stay at home dad with two wonderful little apples to look after. Some of my videos may contain silly/humorous material because that's just who I am.
