Watters Family Garden Center dates back to the 1950′s when Harold & Lorna Watters moved to Prescott with plans for a landscape business. With the family station wagon, a borrowed trailer and a few tools, the family was in business. Prescot

t’s first garden center opened just a few years later on Miller Valley Road. Watters began a second location across from the Prescott Bowling Alley and finally opened our current location in 1983. Since that time, we have been constantly changing, upgrading, remodeling, and building to keep Watters an exciting and enjoyable destination for gardeners. Watters is a destination garden center focused on the very best products, styles and colors appropriate for the mountains of Arizona. We specialize in the best quality plants mixed with the best advice to help our clients grow right. We expect our customer to be successful and enjoy their yard. Voted "Most Revolutionary" garden center in the nation last year, and awarded the "Best in the Southwest" this year. We are famous for our herbs, home grown vegetable plants, shade trees, mountain evergreens, and greenhouses full of fabulous flowers.

🎨 A beautiful surprise at Watters today! 🌻

We had an incredibly special guest show up at the garden center! Artist Lance Gulseth, participating in the 7th Annual Prescott Plein Air Festival, surprised us by setting up his easel to paint "en plein air" (outdoors) right in the middle of our pottery and plants. We had no idea he was coming, and it was such a cool experience to watch his canvas come to life!

Lance is one of 22 talented artists painting all over Prescott this week. You can see his finished Watters painting—along with amazing works from all the participating artists—at the upcoming gallery event!
