DES MOINES, Iowa, Aug. 11, 2022 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director Matt Russell, today announced that 39 Iowa Counties are now authorized for emergency haying or grazing use of Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) acres for fiscal year 2022. Hi, I am Wendi, and I am the daughter of Rick and Julie. I joined the family business in 2017 as the Office Manager and have learned so much about conservation and native seed implementation. There is so much beauty in establishing a native prairie. I have a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in Human Development and Family studies but agriculture has always had a special place in my heart. Once you’re a farm girl you are always a farm girl. I currently live in Corning, IA with my husband Jason and our 2 sons, Parker (16) and Cooper (8). We love being outdoors, hunting, fishing, spending time on our local lake, and “jeeping” in the mountains. I am very excited to help you with all of your cover crop and native seed needs.
