Sometimes it’s the simple things that taste the most delicious! I had a similar dish to this last week in DC and have been craving it since I got home! I happened to have all the ingredients for the bruschetta (bonus…basil from my garden), so I picked up some burrata and a French stick and was good to go! Summer vine tomatoes are so sweet; especially drizzled with some balsamic glaze 🤤 🤤🤤🤤

Have been so busy the past few months, I haven’t really had the chance to post much but had the most delicious pasta tonight for dinner. A simple creamy tomato sauce amped up with the most beautiful sautéed red Swiss chard, garlic scapes and green onions that I picked up from
They added the most beautiful flavors to the sauce. Quick and easy but felt like something that had been simmering all day.

Made some quick and easy sausage rolls today…only 2 ingredients (3 if you count the egg wash 🤭)
Preheat oven to 400°. While its heating, roll out a sheet of ready made puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Spread sausage meat evenly along half of the puff pastry (lengthwise).
Fold the other side of the puff pastry over the sausage meat and pinch all the seams together with a fork. Cut into desired size and place on a parchment lined sheet pan. Cut a few slits in each roll and brush liberally with an egg wash. You can sprinkle with salt or other seasoning if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pastry is golden and sausage is cooked through. This is a basic recipe but you could add carmelized onions, or any other add ins you would like…everything tastes good wrapped in puff pastry lol
