FOUND DOG – COLONIAL HEIGHTS

A dog has been found in the area of Colonial Avenue in Colonial Heights and is currently being held safely at the shelter.

If you believe this dog belongs to you, please contact the shelter as soon as possible. Owners will be required to provide proof of ownership and current rabies vaccination documentation prior to reclaim.

For information regarding this dog or to begin the reclaim process, please contact the shelter directly.

This dog has been seen frequently in the Prince George area, including Merchants Hope Road, Old Stage Road, Ruffin Road, and Route 156.

He is currently in survival mode and is very likely to run if approached, called, followed, or chased. Please do not attempt to catch him.

📍 If you see him:
• Stay calm and keep your distance.
• Note the exact location, nearest cross street, and direction of travel.
• Contact me immediately with any sightings.

We have the greenhouse almost packed. Waiting on 42 varieties of tomatoes🍅 to pop up so we can get them planted.🌱Just in time for gardening season.

Just think..its only about 2 to 3 weeks before we can bring all these beauties outside🌞 and start this 2026 season.
