We are giving amazing deals due to the decrease in oil prices. Asphalt is made with petroleum Crude oil, so why would you seal it with a cheap water base product? It’s like painting wood. Is it good to put water based paint over a oil based paint? NO!!! Make sure you are adding the proper tar back into your asphalt. Asphalt is made out of tar, and gravel. When the asphalt starts to turn grey that means it’s becoming weak and less pliable due to lack of tar. If you see loose sand or rocks unraveling from your asphalt that means it’s falling apart, and you need to seal it ASAP! Tar is the bonding agent that holds your asphalt together. Sealing provides flexibility, durability, and protection. It prevents cracking, and it makes the appearance easy on the eye. Rule #1 make sure you know exactly what you are buying. Choose wisely. Strictly oil base.
