Believe it or not, after being in the interior design industry for 14 years, it's taken me quite some time to figure out what my style really is.
Over the past year, I've been on a bit of a journey of healing, finding myself, and really figuring out what makes me happy and brings me joy. And I've realized that, when it comes to design, that's color, pattern, texture, vintage finds, and an eclectic twist. A little unexpected, a little whimsical, and definitely not cookie-cutter.
It got me thinking... remember when we'd spend hours on Pinterest, saving inspiration, creating boards, and dreaming up all the things we'd love to do in our homes? Before social media took over and before AI started filling our feeds?
Let me tell you, it's become quite the challenge as a designer to scroll through Pinterest and find spaces that genuinely speak to me without wondering if they're even real!
So, I've decided to bring a little of that old Pinterest inspiration back with Weekend Pinterest Saves!
Each Monday, I'll share some of my favorite spaces, details, colors, patterns, and finds that have caught my eye and brought me a little joy.
My ideal client is someone who connects with this kind of style. Someone who doesn't worry about what everyone else thinks, isn't afraid to step outside the box, and just wants to come home to a space that makes them happy and inspires them every single day.
Hopefully, some of these saves bring you a little inspiration too and encourage you to push yourself just a bit outside your comfort zone when designing your home.
Here's to a little more color, a little more personality, and homes that make us happy.
