We are officially and finally no longer selling hostas. Thank you to all of you who have purchased from us over the years. All of our stock is moving to Uniquely Hostas and I would like to encourage all of our friends to consider them for all of your hosta needs - and wants! Although we are no longer selling, we are still collecting and are now continuing to revise and expand the hosta gardens at our home, three doors away from our now closed garden and we will continue to welcome visitors by appointment. Contact phone, text and e-mail remain the same.

Three weeks ago, I sprayed Surflan (Preen) on much of the garden to cut down on w**d seed germination. I did not have enough for the entire yard. I am regretting that already - those w**ds are persistent.
Also have put down the fertilizer. I had some 10-10-10 this year, but this needs to go down before the plants open or it may burn the leaves. I usually just use Milorganite, which I do like because it will not burn.

Looking forward to our first weekend at the Flea Market on May 13th. Plants will be ready and, hopefully, there will be no more freezing after that.

Still have a ways to go, but it's exciting to see them starting to come up.
