The best color for your home is the one you love. If you love white, paint it white. If you love gray, paint it gray. If you have always wanted a deep green house, we will paint you a deep green house.

We have painted Central Oregon homes in every color you can think of. They all look beautiful when you choose the color with intention and we do the prep right.

So take this list for what it is. A snapshot of what is trending, for your curiosity. Not a list of what you should pick!

The 2026 exterior paint colors we are actually seeing on Central Oregon homes, from Rodda-Miller's Pacific Northwest pick to the warm charcoals and nature greens taking over. Plus our honest take: the best color is the one you love.

Here's the thing, social media is now algorithm media, so while I know reels "perform" better for us, potential clients still want to be able to see photos of our work in our feed! So I post 😊

Kicking off a full repaint on this Central Oregon property, barn, shop, exterior and interior. Starting where every good paint job does: pressure washing years of weather off the walls. More to come!

Pressure washing is one of those steps that looks simple from the outside, but it's doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Over the years, your siding collects chalk, dirt, mildew, and old oxidized paint. You can't see most of it, but it's there. If you paint right over all of that, the new paint has nothing clean to grab onto. It might look great for a season, but down the road you'll start seeing peeling, flaking, and paint failure that has nothing to do with the paint itself.

There is a right way and a wrong way to do this part. Too much pressure can gouge siding, drive water up under laps, and damage trim. Not enough pressure leaves all that chalk and mildew behind. Using the wrong tip can do the same kind of damage. We use the right pressure and the right tip for the surface we are working on.

Once we are done, we let everything fully dry before we even think about painting. Rushing this step is one of the fastest ways to end up with a paint job that doesn't last.

If you are thinking about an exterior project in Central Oregon this season, we would love to take a look. Call or text us anytime at (541) 948-7420.

A new coat or stain doesn't just bring wood back to life. It's seals the grain, blocks UV, and protects against the harsh Central Oregon weather.

One thing worth knowing if you're thinking about restaining your own home. You don't always have to do the whole house. The south and west walls take the brunt of our high desert sun and tend to fade and dry out years before the shaded sides do. Restaining just those sun-facing walls is a real option and can save you money while still protecting the wood that needs it most.

If your siding, deck, or fence is starting to look sun-faded or dry, it's worth a fresh coat before another summer hits.
