Thoughtful Design Makes Room for Everyone.

Great design goes beyond aesthetics. It’s about creating spaces that truly work for the people who use them.

For this home, accessibility was an important consideration from the very beginning. Wider hallways, double-door openings, and thoughtful space planning were intentionally incorporated to provide greater ease of movement and comfort throughout the home.

These details may not be the first things you notice, but they can make a meaningful difference in everyday living. 🤍

At RI Studio, we believe exceptional design starts with understanding the unique needs of each family and creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.

Because the best design doesn’t just look beautiful. It makes life easier.

October at RI Studio 🍂

A month filled with jobsite walks, exciting progress, and projects coming to life!

From construction details to finishing touches, October was all about watching the plans we’ve carefully developed begin to take shape. Every site visit brings new progress, thoughtful decisions, and another step closer to bringing our clients’ visions to life.

There’s nothing quite like seeing what’s been imagined on paper become reality.

Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to this month. 🤎

From Progress to Perfection ✨

There’s something special about watching a space evolve from an idea into a finished room.
This home library began with custom built-ins and a bold, saturated color—and layer by layer, the details brought it to life. Herringbone floors, integrated lighting, warm brass accents, tailored furnishings and thoughtful styling transformed the space into a cozy, sophisticated retreat.
It’s a perfect example of why every decision along the way matters. From construction to the final accessory, each detail plays a part in creating a room that feels intentional, collected and completely finished.
Progress → perfection. And this library was worth the wait. 🤍

Behind the scenes, where the details come together. ✨

Design doesn’t stop once the plans are finalized. Regular jobsite walkthroughs are an important part of Terra’s process—checking progress, reviewing details in person, answering questions and making sure the design is being executed as intended.

It’s also an opportunity to catch the small things early, make adjustments when needed and ensure that every decision works together as the space takes shape.

Because a beautifully designed home isn’t just about the vision—it’s about seeing that vision through from concept to completion. Stay tuned to see this project once it is finished! 🤍🤍🤍

Will it fit… or will it actually feel right?

There’s a big difference.

When you work with Terra, she’s not just thinking about what goes into a room—she’s thinking through how everything will live together within the space.

In this primary bedroom, that means considering the scale of the bed, nightstands, lighting, furnishings, walkways, ceiling height, and architectural details long before the room is complete.

A piece can be beautiful on its own and still be completely wrong for the scale of a room.

That’s the value of having a designer involved early: Terra is thinking through the finished space while it’s still being built.

Because great design isn’t just about what you choose. It’s about getting the proportions right. 🤍

From Office to Speakeasy. 🥂

A transformation worth celebrating!

What was once a traditional office is now a sophisticated speakeasy-inspired retreat, designed for entertaining, unwinding, and enjoying every detail.

Terra’s vision for this space earned 2nd Place in the Residential Bar/Entertainment Space – Media Room category at the ASID Celebrating Design Texas Awards!

A beautiful reminder that with thoughtful design, a room can become so much more than its original purpose.

Designed to live beautifully. Designed to entertain. 🤍

You hired a great builder. Do you still need an interior designer?

Absolutely. And here’s why.

A great builder and a great designer bring different expertise to the same project.

Your builder focuses on bringing your home to life through construction. Your designer focuses on how that home will look, feel, and function for years to come.

From thoughtful space planning and material selections to lighting, finishes, furnishings, and the smallest details, every decision contributes to the bigger picture.

At RI Studio, we believe the most beautiful and successful homes happen when the builder and designer collaborate from the very beginning. 🤍

A beautiful bathroom should do more than look good—it should work beautifully, too.

Every detail in this space was considered with both form and function in mind. A floating vanity keeps the room feeling open, integrated lighting adds warmth exactly where it’s needed, and long sightlines create a sense of calm and spaciousness. Even the shower niche was thoughtfully placed to keep everyday essentials within reach without interrupting the design.

It’s these details—the ones you may not immediately notice—that make a space feel effortless.

Thoughtful planning. Beautiful ex*****on. A bathroom designed for the way you actually live.

THE DROP ZONE | Hidden in Plain Sight

The best design isn’t always the part you notice first—it’s the part that makes everyday life work better.

A thoughtfully placed drop zone gives all those grab-and-go essentials a home, while custom cabinetry keeps everything tucked away and the surrounding space feeling clean and intentional.

Because luxury isn’t just about how a home looks. It’s about how effortlessly it lives.

Beautiful. Functional. Thoughtfully designed. 🤍
