This beautiful French provincial mirror is ready to grace a mantel or deck your halls with a touch of elegance for the holidays and beyond.

Carol’s various nicks and scratches have been lovingly sanded and smoothed to perfection. She is finished in a base coat of in and gilded with Rub n Buff in . As a finishing touch, Carol is crowned with a new solid wood appliqué also finished in Iron Gate and Rub n Buff.

Meet Winnie.

Yes. That Winnie. 🧹

This piece might be small in stature but it has a commanding presence that will “put a spell on you” 🎶 when you meet her.

My hope for this piece was to highlight the gorgeous wood grain and keep it light and natural. But our best plans don’t always go the way we hope. Winnie had some spooky stains that just kept appearing through bleach, sanding, and even primer!

After several attempts, Winnie forced my hand and I gave in to giving her this dark and moody vibe.

Winnie is finished is in their gorgeous color. Her drawers are sanded and stained with . Her bold floral drawer liners are from on Amazon and brass and crystal pulls are from .

I just love how she turned out! Winnie needed her cloak and is now ready to roll instead of run “amok, amok, amok” on her restored original casters.

Winnie SOLD in under 6 hours! She will be making her way from Alabama to Texas soon!

Happy anniversary to Mr. EGR Designs! This guy does so much behind the scenes from furniture pick ups, muscling heavy pieces, some prep work (he’s getting braver!), and especially encouraging me.
