Here is a current project. This is an 18th century cottage in Westport Point, MA. It had been much altered over the decades, with only the basic frame and 4 windows on the front being original. While it might have been practical to start over, Westport Point is a local historic district and we had to save as much as possible. A new foundation will be installed and the cottage will be lowered back onto it, at a slightly higher elevation than it sat only two days ago, to provide better protection from flooding. All exterior elements will be restored or replicated to the standards of the local Historical Commission, and the interior will be remodeled to serve as a guest house.

Along with extensive interior renovations, this project creates a link between the main house and the studio, while providing, for the first time, an identifiable entry to the house. The link has identical doors on the opposite side, allowing a view through to the river beyond. As usual, R. P. Valois Builders are doing a great job

The house in S. Dartmouth is nearly done. It's still just less than I year since I met with the clients to begin design. The builders, R. P. Valois & Co, have done an amazing job in a very difficult time for construction.

This is a restoration project in Little Compton, RI. The house was built in 1886 around an old windmill that was moved to the site. The Arts and Crafts interior details are being carefully preserved. An all new kitchen, breakfast room and laundry are being created at the first floor and bathrooms are being remodeled. Dave Pimental and Dave Crovello of Pimental Contractors and their crew are doing a meticulous job.
