In the mayors office this month 🥰

It's time for the April installation of new art with Pueblo Arts Alliance in Mayor Heather Graham 's office. Come visit to see the new artwork with this month's featured artist, Desiree Drew. The art wil be on display through the second week of May.

Greetings from Pueblo: Where the Chile Is Hot and the Pride Is Strong

Desiree Drew is a Colorado based artist whose work celebrates community, storytelling, and the everyday details that give a place its character. Her artwork ranges from digital illustrations and prints to collaborative public murals, often inspired by the people, culture, and landscapes that shape Southern Colorado.

Drew has contributed to several projects through the Pueblo Levee Mural Project, helping transform public spaces into colorful storytelling walls that reflect the spirit of Pueblo and the community that lives here. Public art is especially meaningful to her because it invites everyone to experience creativity in shared spaces.

Her “Greetings from Pueblo” series is a collection of postcard inspired designs that highlight local landmarks, culture, and the unique charm of the city. The series celebrates the pride, history, and personality of Pueblo through bold colors, playful design, and familiar hometown references.

You can see more of her work online here: desidrewdesigns.com or come by and visit the office to take at the April installation.

The Pueblo Arts Alliance serves as the sole authority in selecting artwork for display and curating the exhibit. Selected artwork rotates monthly to ensure a dynamic display with the Mayor's Office as well as provide continuous opportunities for local artists. Selected artists will receive 70% commission on the sale of their artwork, with the remaining 30% allocated to the Pueblo Arts Alliance for their role in curating and facilitating this display.

If you're looking for more information about artwork contact Pueblo Arts Alliance 719-242-6652.

Thank you Pueblo! ❤️❤️❤️

I’m beyond grateful to everyone who came out to the First Friday Art Walk and supported my very first art show ever! Seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and watching people flip through Greetings from Pueblo meant more to me than I can put into words.

Thank you to the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center and the Wondrous Women of the West exhibit for creating space for this moment, highlighting all the wonderful women artists in Pueblo, and including me! And thank you to this community for showing up with so much love!

Prints from Greetings from Pueblo are available at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center! Go check them out if you haven’t yet! They will be available until April 11th!

Truly thank you! 🥲🫶🏼

I painted my first levee mural in 2022 with a Pokémon x Pueblo crossover because honestly I wanted something cute for the community and a couple more Pokéstops 😂

That one mural turned into a whole journey! I got to collaborate with Deadhand Art on Teresita Sandoval, win a city vote for my Flags of Pueblo mural, work alongside and meet many, many artists who inspire me daily ❤️

Now I’m officially starting two new murals: Stick to Your Dreams and All Walks One Dance. Thank you for being here, supporting me, sharing my art, and watching this levee become something historic. The world-record moment is coming and I’m so grateful to be painting my part of it!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
