Ingredient We Skip: Parabens 🚫

You'll find parabens (methylparaben, propylparaben, and others) in a lot of conventional lotions, shampoos, and makeup — they're cheap preservatives that stop mold and bacteria from growing.

The catch: research has linked parabens to hormone disruption, since they can mimic estrogen in the body, and they've been detected in human tissue samples.

That's why every refill on our shelves is paraben-free — our Rustic Strength soap, body wash, and shampoo refills are formulated without parabens, and the same standard applies across our skincare wall.
