In addition to carrying the entire ANICHINI collection, the store also includes unusua

l new products sourced personally by Dollenmaier. The emphasis, as always, will be on traditional artisanal textiles and techniques. The selections are global in reach, featuring artisans and small companies from around the world. ANICHINI supports these artisans, usually women, in maintaining these ancient traditions and crafts by creating a stage and a marketplace for them in America.

If you have ever visited our store in Vermont over the past decade or so, chances are you will have met Nawal. An integral part of our staff, she has been with us for many many years. Originally from Morocco, Nawal studied in Belgium before making her way to America and settling in the Upper Valley.

Nawal has impeccable taste and truly appreciates Anichini's authentic materials and designs. This, mixed with her worldly style, enables her to put together truly beautiful beds and inspired decor. When not working with textiles, she takes her creativity to the garden and kitchen, cooking and entertaining, and spending time with family.

These brushed wool pillows are hand made by farmers who first wash the sheep fur and then weave it. Once it is woven and stitched into pillows or rugs, they comb out the long fur to create the designs. The pillows are actually stuffed with wool! No textile could be more natural. We love them.
