First dwarf of the season! Do you know the difference between “summer” and “winter” squash? Although both are grown as exactly same time, summer squash has a thin skin meant to be eaten right away. Winter squash have a skin that gets harder overtime making it easy to store well into the winter and even next spring! July might not seem to be the best time for planting, but Arizona Native Americans followed traditions of July sowing! Let me help you plan your late summer garden and be well in your way for a magical fall harvest! We are now accepting large garden builds including concrete, galvanized, and large wooden beds with shade structures and arbor/trellis! Contact for more info!

It’s great to help people achieve their garden goals! Check out the transformation to this yard! She wanted to have a herb, flour, and vegetable garden instead of a dead piece of grass they were not using! Although it’s a little hot to plant vegetables right now, we were able to put in some heat hearty herbs and flowers. Stay tuned for how this garden will fill out this fall!
