The home owner hired a well-know granite countertop company to replace formica countertops. She wanted to raise the back “Pony Wall” to accommodate an elevated eating area with 4 chairs. The original contractor didn’t design the wall correctly and built with nails. After a week, the unsupported counter section started to crack and separate – eventually failing. Our design added the
