This project started with a small, narrow Jack and Jill guest bathroom that felt cramped and lacked functionality. The homeowners wanted to open up the space and create a more comfortable, modern layout.

After evaluating the bathroom, JP Construction & Estimating Services, LLC recommended closing off one of the two doors and relocating the shower to the newly opened wall area. This design change immediately created more usable space and dramatically improved the flow of the bathroom.

During the renovation we also relocated the toilet and vanity, allowing the room to feel more open while maximizing the available space.

This video shows the entire transformation from start to finish—from the original layout to a beautifully updated guest bathroom.

The homeowners were extremely happy with the final result and absolutely love their new bathroom.

When we started our company, I was a stay-at-home mom raising two boys with a background in real estate. But construction—and plumbing in particular—was always part of my story. My father was a master plumber who managed a large plumbing company right out of our home, so you could say plumbing was in my blood.

When I met my husband James in ’88, my father took him under his wing and taught him everything he knew about the plumbing industry. Those lessons, the hard work, and a lot of determination led us to where we are today.

Almost 40 years later, we’re proud to be running our own plumbing business.

I absolutely love what I do. It’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the amazing people I’ve met along the way. Being in the construction industry definitely comes with its challenges, but the rewards make every bit of effort worth it.

A big shoutout to all my fellow women in construction—you are absolute rockstars. Keep building, keep leading, and keep showing the world what’s possible. 👷‍♀️🔧
