ABH Designs blossomed from A Beautiful Heart, a blog I created in 2012 to share my style with others. Since then I've graduated from college, gotten married, bought a house, and had my first "big girl job". As my life changed, so did my idea of what I wanted to share with the world.

My husband Christian and I were married in September of 2014 and moved into our home in Phoenix, AZ shortly after

ward. He works in Real Estate and I work for a local furniture company doing digital marketing, as well running this blog and decorating clients' homes.

After nearly 2 years away from blogging, I created ABH Designs, a place where I share everything I love most- decor, fashion, beauty, travel, and my family.

Next in the series: The Kitchen🏡

One of my favorite transformations lately has been building this custom oven range hood.. It completely changed the look of the kitchen! I custom designed the hood with , then had someone assemble it and wrap it in drywall for that seamless built-in look.
I then took one of my cabinet doors to and had them custom color match the paint perfectly. Even the little niche shelves were finished with countertop remnants my countertop guy cut for me to tie everything together!
But honestly, the biggest difference came from the trim details I added myself🪚
The hood looked good on its own, but adding trim gave it that custom, high-end feel while adding so much dimension and character in such a simple way.

Builder-grade spaces can feel completely different with a little creativity, and this project reminded me how much the small details can make your home feel more finished without a massive renovation🤎

Dining room details✨

These custom built-ins might be new, but everything inside them is filled with a little history! A mix of vintage pieces passed down from my mom, grandma, a few treasures from my great-grandma, and little finds I’ve collected from shops around the valley over time.

Every shelf holds something special; vintage silver, delicate china, and pieces loved long before they found their place here. The perfect mix of old and new… timeless in every way!
