Hello everyone, I haven’t posted anything in a long time but trust me when I say I’ve been busier than ever. These customers wanted a deck that looked like it has never skipped leg day and that’s what they got!
They had the design and we made it happen. A lot of big projects coming up for the first of the year so stay tuned 👍🏽

This deck build required a special cleanup crew and some cuteness to go along with it! I've said it before that the newer composite decks are really nice and get rid of maintenance, but there is nothing like the look and feel of a sturdy treated lumber deck. With all the advances in materials and new ways of building these decks, these will outlast their predecessors by a long shot. Glad I got to finish this in time for the long awaited summer!

The loss of a shade tree prompted this customer to build some much needed shade to cover her back porch. This roof addition offered a retreat from the heat of the sun but also an inviting spot to hang out when it's dark. The deck only offered a single bulb light fixture but now it has dimmable and motion sensored can lights and soon to have hanging porch lights operated by an outlet with a dimmable switch. I'm figuring out exactly how much I can handle when it comes to how big of jobs I can do. This roof addition over an existing deck seems like a simple job but when you're by yourself it offers certain challenges, mainly ones that give sore muscles. I love the transformation this project made to the back of this house!

How it arrives, to how it unpacks, to how it ends up. The second one I have done in as many years and people love these things! These Backyard Adventures playsets are really cool and a pretty good product, however, are super time consuming and complicated to build. Some of the reviews have homeowners working up to 40 man hours putting it together. If you plan on getting one of these but don't have a literal workweek to devote to putting it together, let me know :)

AbraCadabra! If it were only that easy:) This deck went from sketchy and a bit dangerous to classic and comfortable. Treated wood sometimes gets a bad rap because composites material is all the rage. However, with a little maintenance every few years a deck like this can last just as long as the the synthetic kind and at a fraction of the cost. Builds like this are right up my alley so if you are thinking about updating your deck space let me know!
