There’s more to slab foundation repair than just driving something deep into the ground. Proper support matters.
That’s one reason we prefer cast in place piers on many slab homes. Larger bearing area, formed to the soil conditions under the home, and built specifically for that foundation instead of relying on a small pre cast cylinder alone.
We’ve actually removed and replaced a lot of failed pressed piers over the years that simply didn’t hold up long term. Around East Texas, soil conditions can change fast. What feels solid one day isn’t always solid later.
A repair should do more than lift a house today. It should still be holding strong years down the road.
