Next application window is June 1st - 12th for the TID 27 (green highlight) area – Harriet Street, Northwestern Avenue, Prospect Street, Jefferson Street

Homeowner TID Repair Program provides up to $10,000 for repairs or to correct code-related issues, with the City covering 90% of eligible costs and the homeowner contributing the remaining 10%.

Homeowner TID Enhancement Program offers a dollar-for-dollar (1:1) match of up to $10,000 for approved upgrades that improve property value.

Please Note: Homeowners may utilize one or both programs; however, total funding is capped at $10,000 per property.

The City of Racine has created new programs to help homeowners re-invest in their homes. Homeowners within the boundaries of a Neighborhood TID can now apply for up to $10,000 in grants to repair and/or enhance their homes.

In the coming days, WHS will welcome 150 beagles from Ridglan Farms, as part of a national effort to rescue and rehome 1,500 dogs. This endeavor is being led by Big Dog Ranch Rescue and the Center for a Humane Economy, and other partners, including the Dane County Humane Society, Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies, Wisconsin Puppy Mill Project, Inc, and other Wisconsin animal welfare groups.

This is how you can help:

🐾 A single intake of 150 dogs will require some extra resources. If you are able to donate supplies, you can do so from our Wishlist at: https://wihumane.me/WHSAmazonWishlist or by dropping off supplies at any of our locations.

The beagles cared for by WHS will be available for adoption once they are medically and behaviorally cleared. Those interested in adoption should review the adoption process at www.wihumane.org/adopt in the coming days and weeks.

This project should have it's own album due the incredible makeover that the home underwent over the course of 9-10 months.

Westcomb Interiors /Westcomb Construction hired us for both the interior and exterior aspect of painting for "The Gebhardt" project in Elm Grove. What a pleasure it was to work with these incredibly talented people - Nick and Danielle Westcomb, their team, and all of the other amazing contractors!
