Hey Hippies!! I’ve got some bittersweet news to share with you all.

I have chosen to end Houseplant Hippie services for the foreseeable future. With that being said, the love I that I have for our plant community is unwavering. I am SO thankful for all of the support that you all have offered to this dream of mine. Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to see it flourish and become real. In vulnerability and transparency, I trust we all understand the importance of our physical and mental health. In this time of birthing Hippie, I’ve learned a lot about the nuances of health, the things that we hold, how our bodies let go of what we hold, and how our bodies digest stressors, whether they are positive or negative.This body of mine is needing some time to heal. And although Houseplant Hippie has become one of the beauties in my life that I’m the most proud of, I’ve got to be at my healthiest to see her grow. My goal is to get back to ME so that I can get back to YOU. This letter is a reflection of our journey, a thank you to you for making it happen with me, and a bunch of x’s and o’s. Thank you for building with me, traveling around with me, learning with me, and choosing peace & harmony with me.

✨ The Team ✨

For me and Houseplant Hippie’s Birthday, we get to celebrate having a team for the first time! 🪴♎️

Over the past few years, you all have followed along on my journey of turning a hobby I love, nourished by generational plant growers and lovers, into a fully operating business of my own. Operating so much so that I need Houseplant Hippie to be more than just me now….. WE are Houseplant Hippie!! Me and these ladies (plus other hippies who couldn’t be in this picture ❤️) who are creating this awesome vision with me and all help hold the foundation together. I am so thankful for each and every one of them and couldn’t ask for a better birthday gift. 🎉

Happy Birthday to Houseplant Hippie - my baby - my surprise trajectory. I reflect on the beautiful lesson I’ve learned in these three years: even the unexpected turns in life end up putting us exactly where we are supposed to be. I have learned a different level of sacrifice, willingness, effort, and patience. We can love our hobbies and create beautiful things with them, but it’s a different kind of love to turn it into a running business… and keep falling in love with it. Loving it through the busy seasons and the slow ones. Loving it not only when I’m watering the babies and teaching workshops, but also loving it when it’s time for taxes! I’m getting to learn this beautiful union with Hippie that I’ve come to value as a once and a lifetime opportunity 🪴We continue to grow and evolve as the plant parent community grows and we share new experiences together. I’m so thankful that I get to experience it flourishing into the beautiful business that it has already become.

Thank you all for continuing to support us, we are excited to show you what we’ve been working on 🎁
