Spent today in the ~usefuLs lab, creating. ๐ Among the rocks in front of me was this conglomerate โPudding Stone,โ a weathered matrix.
Just like the three smaller rocks gifted to me from Ghanaโs La Beach lat year that sit next to it, the more I look at it, the more I can't imagine it any other way. Its qualities are design enough, decoration enough, and story enough. Those soft hues of light blue, tan, cream, and gray hold a history of their own.
Conglomerates are sedentary rocks formed by rounded pebbles and rock fragments that naturally cemented together over time. Quartz, feldspar, clay minerals, or iron-rich sediments contribute to their colors.
Thatโs right. Sometimes, As Is! THAT is the story. ๐
