Fun fact: Builders in North Carolina didn’t start including dedicated laundry rooms as a standard feature until the late 1960s–1970s. That means many older homes had their washer and dryer in the kitchen, thanks to easy access to plumbing and electricity.
This ADORABLE 1950s home in Cary was no exception, and let’s be honest… no one wants a reminder of laundry that needs folding while they’re washing dishes.
The solution? We converted this unused carport into a beautiful laundry room and half bath! This project was so much fun and took a lot of labor and love. Huge thanks to our clients, Chuck and Amy, for trusting us with their vision!
Now on to painting! 🎨
