Plant Delights Nursery, Inc. Established in 1986, we are an international mail-order and website perennial plant nursery selling native, rare, and unusual plants from around the world.

Plant Delights Nursery is located on the campus of Juniper Level Botanic Garden. JLBG is a private, and not-for-profit, 28+ acre botanic garden displaying over 22,000 different plants from around the world. JLBG maintains world-class plant collections of Agave, Amorphophallus, Arisaema, Arum, Asarum, Aspidistra, Baptisia, Carex, Clumping Bamboo, Colocasias, Crinums, Epimediums, Eucomis, Farfugium,

Saururus cernuus 'Hertford Streaker' was was shared with us by a local naturalist Jesse Perry, who discovered it in Hertford, NC. This slow spreading, variegated form is right at home in moist soils, where it interweaves nicely with other moist shade lovers. Zones: 5a to 8b, guessing.

If you enjoy the eye scorching red flowers of Silene virginica, you'll love Verbena peruviana ๐ŸŒนThis drought tolerant groundcover verbena spreads at a moderate rate and does not smother its neighbors, as long as they are at least 6 inches tall. It is best used in sunny rock gardens, containers, and open sunny areas. Can be layered with spring bulbs. Zones: 6a to 10b, evergreen.
