We have been getting so many calls about storm prep.
Keep it simple folks...as the temps drop, do a few things...
-remove hoses from the outdoor faucets
-let some faucets drip
-open cabinets on exterior walls where faucets are mounted
-and for goodness sake, take care of yourselves and neighbors as you are able.

Before we finish any 🛁 tub installation, we run what we call a “flow integrity test”.

We check the pressure, the stability of the filler, the sound of the water hitting the tub, and how fast it fills.
You can tell a lot about a system by how the water behaves in the first 30 seconds.

On this job, the filler passed perfectly.
Smooth line, no vibration, no splash pattern on the tile.
Everything worked exactly the way a high quality bathroom should.

We checked a water heater last week for a homeowner who said their showers kept going hot then cold. 🚿

The tank looked fine on the outside, but inside we found a thick layer of sediment covering the heating element. ⚠️

Most people do not know this can happen even in newer heaters.
When the tank fills with minerals, it heats the sediment first before it heats the water.
That is why showers can change temperature or take longer to warm up.

We flushed the tank and tested the parts.
Right after, the homeowner said the water felt hotter and warmed up faster. 🔥

Sometimes a water heater does not need replacing.
It just needs care on the inside where no one can see. 🛠️
