Hey everyone,
I know it's been a while since I last posted here, so I'll make this one worth your while. Summer is here. A/C bills can go out of sight if you are not prepared. Make sure your A/C coils are clean, in home filters changed out, and the biggest bang for your buck, and attic vent fan. Just replaced the motor on my vent fan, and A/C runs about half what it did the week before...And house is very comfortable at 72 degrees. If you don't have an attic fan, and you have an attic, STRONGLY suggest you get one. Relatively inexpensive (@$100-$120). Not only will it keep the house cooler, it will also extend the life of your roof. Thermostat controlled, I set mine at 100 degrees. When attic temp reaches 100, fan starts sucking out hot air, until 95 degrees. Inexpensive way to maintain comfortable home, and save some big bucks.
