This is "Step footing "Redneck Style ....this house was inspected and Engineer approval set of drawing plans ...Footing don't have re bars ... How Contractor can do a GOOD JOB and estimate the right way a project ? This situation create Addendum or Change order and "some customers "Blame last contractor " and don't want to pay for "the extra work .....In my 30 + years as a BUILDER i don't understand how city of Raleigh inspector approve footing tranche and forms before poring a concrete ???? In this case no forms done and only concrete gravity. A lot of cases when home owner wants to get "something for nothing "and blame LAST contractor for someone's mistakes and use all kind of tricks get what he want .
If City of Raleigh INSPECTORS must do what they suppose to do and last contractor can estimate jobs correctly and AVOID BLAME and PROBLEMS....
