Just completed a super clean PAVER DRAINAGE SYSTEM in N Raleigh for a very happy couple! This portion of the property was overgrown and unusable. Our clients needed protection for their basement from flooding, so we provided the solution!

We:
-removed a grove of sweet gum saplings and roots
-dug a drainage ditch and lined it with TN fieldstone
-Built a PERMEABLE PAVER PATIO drainage collection point that flowed into the stone drainage ditch
-added solid stone steppers up to a new paver porch pad

Voila! A beautiful little space

Many years ago, my dad, our founder, Garrison built a couple beautiful wood sheds at his house (among many other things). One featured low stone walls and had a paver floor. It was almost like a rustic little castle! Something very special about his house and backyard. People including myself were very drawn to it and felt a comforting energy there. I took many pictures of it over the years. I always wanted one like his, but couldn't spend the time he did to build a "wood castle." So after many years, I finally built a simple 12'x12' wood shed. After getting lights installed and paint and stain on her, I must say it seems to have captured a fraction of the cozy, rustic vibe my old man's had! I'm sure he'd have been happy and proud to see my simple structure. He took such pleasure in the simple and natural things in life, and taught us kids to as well.

Our simple "wood shed" was promptly confiscated by my loving family and repurposed for a gazebo! I had to concede that it was it's highest and best purpose, so I was happy to rename it our "gazebo." Dad LOVED cutting, splitting, storing, and of course burning wood, but he would surely have agreed that the family takes priority over firewood, so....

After all these years, I long for a beautiful, rustic, and well built wood shed like my dad's...

One day, I shall build one...

Just completed a beautiful paver driveway extension to give this North Raleigh family some more room to park their classic cars.

Belgard Dublin Cobble and Weston Stone planter wall and step. We were able to seamlessly integrate their existing walkway to their new driveway extension.

Just completed a cozy outdoor living space in NW Raleigh. Belgard and Techo paver patio, gas fire pit, TN flagstone walkway and fire pit caps, some drainage, and some cool little boulders transformed a tough site into a cozy refuge!!!

And also very humbled and eternally grateful that it’s all because of my dad, our founder, Garrison Scott. It was his love, his passion for creating beauty with natural elements like stone, flowers, trees that this company was built on. That and his immense love of his family and nature made us all who we are. His legacy will live on in all of us!
