Got a set of 55 year old doors to paint.
Some are so greasy around handles, I’m scraping off with putty knife first. I’ve read a lot from cabinet painter’s on here that use 70 % naphtha 30% acetone .Is this the best cleaner for greasy doors? Have always use krud kutter on others but not as greasy as these. Thanks in advance.
Will be using ICRO primer and finish coat from Hartley Group Coatings.

Small but fun.
Primer W414 catalyze.
Finish coat W-5000 Pure white.
Boxes were rolled with Mohair roller with catalyst added.
Added small amount of water to cut the thickness.
Worked great and smooth as a baby’s butt.Hartley Group Coatings

First time brush/roll w-415 catalyze 5%.
Definitely no spraying in customer house.
After 30 minutes of working it seemed to be just a little thick.Added a little water to thin out and boom , laid down perfect.

Yes it does.
ICRO 415 2k 10%
ICRO W-5000 2k 10%
Primed both sides.Sanded great.
Finish coat one side.
Flashing off now. Hour and a half flip and finish coat other side.
Done deal.
One long day.
