The last doe kidded yesterday - a huge black dapple doeling! She had a pretty hard delivery, but we were able to get the kid out alive! We've ended the spring kidding season with 8 does and 7 bucks.

Another doe has given birth to a big, healthy red buckling. We are nearing the conclusion of our spring kidding season this year, with one more doe expected to kid shortly.

We anticipate having around 7 high-quality bucklings available at weaning.

Another healthy set of twins was born this afternoon after church. We were really hoping for at least one doeling out of this doe to retain back in our herd. But she decided to give us two doelings: a solid red doe and a red dapple doe.

Another doe decided to kid in the middle of the rain storm this morning. She kidded unassisted with a healthy set of twins.

Another doe gave birth last night. The doe had the kid standing and nursing within 15 minutes. The kid is a nice black paint/cape doeling. It’s going to be nice acquire another keeper doeling for the farm.

All the babies are enjoying being out of their kidding pens and enjoying being in the communal pens. The Lord has blessed the farm so far with healthy babies and lots of color!

Another doe kidded yesterday, a very nice single doe kid! This doe will be retained to stay in our breeding program; she's a dandy.

Another doe gave birth this morning!! A red buck kid a black dapple buck kid and a red dapple paint doe kid. We are very grateful for the healthy newborns on the farm.

Another new arrival this afternoon. Doe has given birth to a large black dapple buck kid. I am eager to observe this buck's development.

The first kids of spring commenced with a remarkable birth, a set of quadruplets. Unfortunately, one of the kids was stillborn, but the result was three healthy kids: a red dapple buck kid, a solid black buck kid, and a little red dapple doe kid.

Another weekend has been dedicated to clearing fence lines. We will soon be able to expand the breeding does pen by an additional couple acres. Next weekend, our focus will shift to installing goat wire. Kidding is scheduled to commence in just two weeks, so stay tuned for updates on the anticipated arrival of dapple kids.
