Chief Olbinski attended the 2026 Dodge County Executive Law Enforcement Associations Awards Banquet at Old Hickory Golf Club last night, honoring the department's Citizen of the Year nominee, Hunter Kennow.

Hunter was nominated by our departmentsfor his heroic actions on September 5, 2025. At Kwik Trip, Hunter called 911 and administered life-saving CPR to a gentleman in the parking lot until emergency responders arrived.

Hunter's swift response and willingness to intervene during a critical emergency made a significant impact, and his actions embody the qualities worthy of Citizen of the Year recognition.
