Our Story

The Gift Exchange is a small Family Owned and Operated Business offering wares both authentic and reproduction primitive, vintage, country, farm, lake and a little shabby chic. We offer many choices in candles to include scented/burning, plug in and battery operated. We are dedicated to offering the most popular choices in the Crossroads Candles at low prices. We also have a large selection of candle holders and products. All Furniture Pieces and Displays are for sale in the store. We have new primitive furniture hand made, re-purposed items, and also refurbished and painted pieces. If you see it in the store, it is for sale. Our very own "Dave" (husband, father, grandfather, and father-in law) does much of the handiwork. We have a large selection of lighted canvas pictures, both everyday and seasonal. Linens, pillows, and runners are in abundance throughout the store. We have seasonal and everyday choices in floral picks, wreaths, stems and garland. Box signs and pictures are displayed and for sale. We offer Primitives by Kathy Pottery pieces. We offer a large supply of tin nightlights, lamps, candle lamps and tin wares by Colonial Tin Works in Greensboro, NC. Our Barn Stars are hand-made in PA. We have old windows, ladders, crates and much more available for your home decorating. We offer a large selection of Baby Gifts and signs. We want every visit you have at The Gift Exchange to be a pleasurable experience! We personally choose most all wares for sale in the store. We offer gift bag wrapping at no charge. Customers stop in to enjoy what we have to offer as a small local business keeping the pleasure in shopping.
