Shane joined the ARC Design Team in the fall of 2023, and since then he's provided design and project coordination for our design team, clients and building partners. He helps ARC grow their ability to display progress to a client by using continuously advancing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, such as REVIT, to create 3D models of projects. In his spare time, Shane may be found exploring the Black Hills with his wife and three boys or working on restoring cars.

ARC is a regional leader in architecture, planning, interior design, and sustainable environments. Our home base is in Rapid City, SD where we take pride in creating great places to live – worship – work – learn – and play in, locally and abroad. Opportunities are endless to work on design and construction that positively shapes our neighborhoods, community, and region. ARC fosters a dynamic and collaborative design studio allowing our team members to have the freedom to creatively speak into all our work. Our team desires to have a fun and energetic atmosphere.

ARC International’s current career opportunities include Interior Design, BIM Design Technician, AutoCAD Draftsperson, and Graphic Design. Applicants may apply for a position that fulfills multiple roles. While we prefer those with formal education/degrees, design industry work experience, and giftedness with the technology and tools – we also encourage those with a creative drive and energy to consider applying to be part of our collaborative team.

ARC works with advanced technology platforms including Autodesk (Revit and AutoCAD), Virtual Reality (Twin motion, Blender, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) We also appreciate and utilize the traditional skills of drawing, art, writing, etc. to develop our designs.

ARC recently celebrated Ryan's 21st anniversary as our Design Coordinator! His commitment to ARC, our clients and building partners shines as he provides design and project coordination for our design team. While designing the SDGF&P Outdoor Campus, ARC was intentional to provide sustainable stormwater management that was not only effective, but aesthetically pleasing. Drainage retention was provided for the 32 acre campus which enhanced stormwater quantity and quality, fed the pond and accompanying wetlands as well as aquatic wildlife, and provided campus irrigation from the pond. Visitors connect with the campus as they journey over the bridge to explore the building inside.
