Previous ā€œmaster carpenterā€ thought tile membrane was a good idea to waterproof the underside of the deck so the homeowner could use it as a carport. Decking boards completely rotted in 3 years and tile membrane lasted all of 6 months according to homeowner. We gonna get them right though, going to remove all this tile membrane and plywood, install new decking boards and then metal will go on the underside to catch rain and shed it out of the carport keeping everything nice and dry šŸ˜Ž
