Right before the holidays last year, I had the pleasure to work with a super nice couple from the Dedham, MA area that wanted to add a little more warmth (as well as privacy) to their cute cape home! For their kitchen, we needed to work with an eclectic mix of metal elements, gray tones, as well as the warmth of their medium honey toned cabinets. My customers wanted something more than just a shade, so a Roman style shade with a built in valance from was just the right style! The fabric actually had a mix of warm colors as well as the gray, so it worked perfectly well for their kitchen!
Then for the Living room, they wanted a classic clean blind that went well with the gray wall (yes, people are still doing gray!) & bright white trim & light gray sofa. So for that, they chose a Faux wood blind aka Everwoods Blinds from ! This particular one call Trugrain Pearlite has been popular because of its mix of grey & white texture on the slats. It can give a nice coastal vibe to the space.
They were very pleased with the results! Now, we’re working on their basement level office space windows, so to be continued!

It’s the little things…It was a no brainer that this nice sized half bath just needed something extra. That extra was adding Candice Olsen Soothing Mists which adds a little color and just adding a few accessories. Candice Olsen wallpapers are available & Drive In Paint Dorchester, Ma!
It made the boring beige come to life! There’s more to come eventually, like replacing the pedestal sink with a square sink that has a small rustic vanity cabinet. But one day at a time!

The other night, approx 170+ people came together to celebrate GROW, an amazing Non-Profit organization that helps support women in business & in life thru grants and other numerous supports that can help achieve financial & personal goals for self sufficiency. Inspirational speakers, delicious food, drinks & music but more importantly to be able to make such great connections!
