So the first pic is the client-sent inspiration photo. I could NOT use the geraniums (not enough sun) or the pansies (die in heat of summer… I also couldn’t source curly willow so I used forsythia branches. This what I came up with… how’d I do?

This is Ethan! Ethan put together his first set of fabulous Rundle’s Gardens pots yesterday! This new client has the biggest Versailles planters I’ve ever had the pleasure to design! So fun! Thank you Ethan!

Ok well today did NOT go as planned… and my worst nightmare was realized. 56 years without breaking a bone but today I fell off a ladder and my knee made a direct hit onto a curb. I knew it was broken immediately. But it wasn’t just broken… it’s smashed into 50 some pieces. And it REALLY HURTS ALOT! Doctor says it’s irreparable. So looks like I’m Getting a new knee tomorrow morning. Right before my busiest month of the year. 10,000 annuals to plant and 150 pots before Memorial Day weekend. My worst nightmare. 😞👎😡. But I will figure it out! My 2 employees are awesome and a contractor friend offered to fill in for a few weeks! If you’re a client please bear with me! If you’re a friend wish me luck!

So we planted some more size appropriate shrubs , unearthed the rocks and rearranged them, edged and mulched. HUGE difference! Perennials still too small to plant… coming later.

This house is stunning and unique… but it is NOT big! The client has instructions to keep these plantings small. Keep you plantings size appropriate for your home! Smaller plantings give the illusion of a bigger home! This landscape is made to compliment the home, not overtake it!

Sometimes your landscaping just gets away from you. This absolutely beautiful and unique home was almost completely hidden. Front plantings removed! More size appropriate planting going in this week!
