Well, that about sums it up!

I grew up with limited funds but with very, very creative parents who saw possible in the impossible, life in the unrevivable, and always thought outside of the box. As a child, I grew up around craft and home improvement projects on a daily basis. Somewhere along the line, something clicked in my mind that I too could repurpose and give new life to a discarded item found alongside the road, in th

e trash, or found for pennies at a yard sale or thrift store. My taste seems to run on the more elegant side no matter what project I am working on. Often times when looking for specific DIY instructions or pictures, I have taken to the Internet. I cannot find exactly what is in my mind and have to create it. Other times, I find an idea I can twist to meet the picture I have in my mind. After many such projects, my mom suggested I start putting my creations on Pinterest. However, my son suggested I create a page for these projects to show others that they too can DIY for pennies on the dollar whether it be a wedding, furniture for their home, or home improvement....you can DIY....
