“The Figlets” adventures. What’s so amazing about this journey into sharing growing food with others, is that it can be done as a family.
We value the opinion of the next generation, our daughters, so much. In most cases, they’re helping decide what we should plant or grow.
They’re discussing with their peers, their administrators, even going as far as the local politics of school boards, city council, and Board of Supervisors, letting them know that they are dissatisfied with the quality and nutrition of food that they are being given.

If it was up to them, they would be planting all fruit trees, so we are truly blessed that when we reached out to for donation in our community they said yes.
Thank you for helping the next generation dream with hopes and aspirations all coming from a ripe plot, plum, peach apricot or apple.

We are looking for all size of containers right now .

Specifically needing 5 gallon for the tree give away but also need smaller to share with schools such as fridays grafting lesson of 130 students.

You can drop them off at 14407 green drive Red Bluff,Ca out by Dibble Creek Outpost .

We are excited to invite you to join us for the 3rd Annual North State Seed & Scion Exchange, a free,
family-friendly community event celebrating seeds, plants, knowledge, and connection.
The event will take place on March 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Tehama District
Fairgrounds in Red Bluff, California. Hosted by California Rare Fruit Growers in partnership with One
Seed at a Time, The Fig Hunter, and Kinney Nursery & Topsoil, this annual gathering brings together
gardeners, farmers, educators, vendors, and community members from across the North State.
Attendees can look forward to:
* Heirloom and pre-packaged seeds, plant starts, and scions available free while supplies last
* Educational lessons on soil health, planting, and propagation
* Local food vendors, kids’ activities, face painting, and entertainment
* Opportunities to connect, share knowledge, and grow community
We warmly welcome vendors, growers, educators, and organizations interested in participating, as
well as members of the public who want to learn, share, and celebrate the joy of growing. Whether
you’re an experienced farmer, a backyard gardener, or just curious about plants, there is something
here for everyone.
