Hi everyone, and thanks for the interest in my venture. The idea of halfway handy was inspired by my mom and I getting tired of waiting for my dad to do something around the house and wondering if we could figure out how to do it ourselves, and the answer was yes. This, combined with stories I’ve heard of people needing help with things around their homes and not being able to find a handy man willing to come out, or even call back. So if you need anything, help with garden related projects, seasonal care, window screens, storm windows, touch up painting, pictures hung, gutters cleaned (first floor, I’m only so brave), lights or smoke alarm batteries in high places changed, ideas you want to make happen but aren’t sure how and so many other things, just reach out. I will be honest about my skills, I’m not a plumber, and electrician, or a carpenter. I can not fix your plumbing, rewire your house, reshingle your roof, or renovate your kitchen. Well, I could, but no one would be happy with the results. But I am here if you need a shed cleaned out, an errand run, or a raised garden bed built. I have a pickup and a strong work ethic and I’m not afraid to use both.
