🔨 Sunday – Phase 3: It's time to set posts & frame!

The planning and digging are done — now your fence is really starting to take shape! 🏡

Today is all about building a strong, straight foundation that will support your fence for years to come.

🔹 Add gravel or a concrete base layer to the bottom of each post hole.
🔹 Set your corner and end posts first, using a level to make sure each post is straight and plumb.
🔹 Pour mixed concrete around the posts and allow it to cure according to the product directions.
🔹 Once the posts are secure and stable, begin attaching the horizontal rails to create the framework for your fence.

💡 DIY Tip: Take your time with this phase! Properly spaced, level, and secure posts can make a big difference in the strength and finished appearance of your fence.

Saturday is when your fence project really starts taking shape! With your planning complete, it’s time to head outside, mark your fence line, and get those post holes ready.

🌿 Clear the Fence Line
Remove brush, rocks, branches, and other obstacles so you have a clean path to work with.

📍 Drive Wooden Stakes
Place wooden stakes at the corners and key points along your planned fence line. Use a string line to help keep everything straight and properly aligned.

📏 Measure & Spray-Paint Post Holes
Carefully measure your post spacing and mark each post-hole location with spray paint. Taking the extra time to measure now can make a big difference when it’s time to install your fence!

⛏️ Dig the Post Holes
Grab your post-hole digger and get to work! Dig each hole to the proper depth and width for your fence and local conditions.

💡 DIY TIP: Measure twice, dig once! A straight, properly spaced layout is the foundation for a great-looking fence.
