We are looking for an employee to fill an opening as a Construction Laborer. The candidate that fits best with our company is motivated and appreciates the autonomy they are provided. This candidate also understands that, as the company grows, they have the opportunity to grow with it. Additional positions for career growth and development will arise as we increase our capacity to take on more and more work. We currently perform a variety of custom renovations and also provide custom home building to our customers. Our company takes pride in bringing a positive experience to our customers.
Experience Requirements:
1. Must have 2+ years of experience working in a residential construction setting
2. Some finish work experience
Skills:
1. Demonstrate the ability to nail, cut, and measure appropriately.
2. Able to learn from the lead carpenter and complete work in a team/group setting.
3. Communication skills are always important.
4. Must be physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work 8 hour shifts.
Job responsibilities:
1. Help perform daily carpentry and project construction
2. Help set up and clean up at the beginning and end of each day
3. Collaborate with ownership and company leadership about project process and status
4. Maintain proper communication with the project managers and lead carpenters
5. Ensure the necessary materials and tools are available for the next day of work
6. Maintain an organized work environment and storage
7. Ensure a safe construction environment by maintaining a clean job site.
Compensation:
Depends on the ability to prove and demonstrate the skills required above.
