Long, long ago, circa 2004, a group of young wildland fire fighters formed Armageddon Wilderness Fire. It was there that owner, Eddie Wilson, and sawyer, Joe Bandy began learning the skills of the saw trade along with their friend and then climber Jonathan Rouer. Between training and fire fighting, they filled their time by cutting and delivering firewood in and around Red River, New Mexico. What

began as a one pick-up truck operation, delivering 10 to 15 cords per year, has since grown into the full service, professional tree felling and removal business, that is now known as Wilson's Wood Yard. Their team, which now includes several employees, including professional climber, Chris McKinney, combined with their growing arsenal of equipment has made it possible for Wilson's Wood Yard to expand their capabilities in ways they only dreamed about in the old days. In fact, this year they have embarked on a new venture into hand crafted, custom furniture. The sky is the limit from here!
