Local Highly Reputable paint store in search of Automotive Paint Specialist for one of our 3 locations. ( Redding, Anderson or Red Bluff). Paint specialist provides over-the-counter direct sales to customers, takes orders in-person and by phone. This individual must enjoy being around people and have excellent customer service skills. Sales activities focus on aftermarket automotive paint, it will include the sale of collision supplies and equipment. $1500.00 signing bonus for experienced applicants . Pay range depending on experience is $18-$25 hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Attend work as scheduled, on time, unless management authorizes time-off.
Demonstrate courteous, respectful, and kind conduct toward every customer and employee.
Cooperate and coordinate well with coworkers as a team.
Perform duties in compliance with legal, regulatory, and Company safety guidelines, practices and policies.
Maintain neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Provide exceptional customer service including assisting in determining parts and/or paint needed, processing paint formulas utilizing the computer, mixing paint, offering options to solve customer problems, and diffusing situations involving an upset or dissatisfied customer.
Research parts and paint availability through computers and catalogs for stock numbers, inventory status, and pricing.
Locate and pull orders, check in, put up, straighten, dust and rearrange stock as needed.
Handle cash and credit transactions; properly invoice/credit customer accounts.
Prioritize the order of delivery items and assign deliveries to drivers , if applicable.
Correctly handle new and defective core returns from customers, insure proper customer credit and complete necessary paperwork.
Work home store inventory/assist in other location’s inventory, if assigned.
Clean ( pick-up trash, sweep, mop, etc) and maintain inside and outside of the building area.
Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

Knowledge of Collision Repair & Refinishing procedures Required.
Retail Experience a plus
Bilingual a plus
Color matching a plus

Pre-employment drug-screen and background checks are required. Minimum age 18.
