What is your secret (or known) work pet peeve?????? 😏 🙃
We will go first…. The way papers are stapled. They should be stapled in the top left corner of the stack. If the pages flip, then at a slight angle. 📑

It is still a mystery how staples travel a quarter of the way down a page and you can’t see the information on the pages following the first page. 🕵️

Also, can we discuss why a stack of stapled pages have multiple pages stapled randomly through out the stack? If we are making 1-document, why not remove the rogue staples before combining them? 🧐

Now does anyone know of this work peeve of ours… of course not, we are not petty. We just fix it, and move forward.

The rest of My 50 Realizations....

31. In spite of & despite of, I’m grateful
32. I have enemies. Not everyone likes me. Including family.
33. Happiness is what “happens when all your dreams come true”
34. “Wicked” is still one of my favorite musicals & “The Young & The Restless” is still good
35. Folks are really blinded by appearances. Believe lies and not the truth
36. Folks are bottomless pits- No matter how you love and care for them, it’s not enough
37. Some people are genuinely happy, kind, funny and just soooo beautiful
38. Not everyone is going through “hard times” or “struggles”
39. There are always full parking lots, theatres, airports & etc. yet the “recession” is real, “and “The Great Depression” has returned…
40. There are too many non-profit organizations
41. ‘You’re only as happy as your saddest child.”
42. It’s true, “blood is thicker than water” Doesn’t mean family isn’t toxic or poisonous.
43. For those still reading my 50 Realizations, you’re good… I think 😊
44. Morals today aren’t as popular… stand your ground
45. It’s up to ME to choose ME, more often
46. Distractions can be as cruel as time
47. “Aging Gracefully” has a different meaning for most
48. Exercise is really great for me and so is music!
49. The Bible is really, “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. God is real, even if you don’t believe
50. I have more realizations, after all, I’m 50 years old… or as my friend says “40+10”

My 50 Realizations…..

1. I’ve spent more of birthdays how others wanted me to
2. Folks do EXACTLY what they want to do. Folks are super selfish
3. Deadlines are not as important to others as they are to you
4. Folks think they are ALWAYS the EXCEPTION to the Rule
5. Unkindness, Hate & Racism comes in ALL ethnicities/colors/religion
6. Most of you stopped reading at #5. Some of you will continue to #10, even #23. The rest skimmed through to find fault and disagreement. For those who continued to 50, I’m impressed, regardless of your why.
7. Folks are more interested in following a stranger’s page rather than a friend, family member or someone in their town
8. Being consumed with other ethnicities turns into jealousy which turns into hate
9. People do make you happy and folks can make you sad/angry
10. I would not want to be killed by a Shark
11. Energy does decrease automatically each year while weight increases automatically each year
12. Less tolerable of Foolishness with each year
13. Trust decreases with each year. Clarify & Verify
14. Resetting passwords is a daily ritual
15. People who have consistently made better choices are not as celebrated as the rehabilitated
16. Every obese/overweight person does not have thyroid issues. Some of us just move less and eat more.
17. Perception is their reality. Folks believe they are right, even when they are wrong
18. Once you give, they never stop asking. The ones always asking, rarely give.
19. Rain soothes me. Clouds make me happier.
20. Mediocrity is highly accepted and often encouraged
21. Just showing up isn’t enough. Sometimes “your best” isn’t good enough
22. Grief can move you. Grief can debilitate you.
23. Animals/pets do NOT belong in airports, airplanes, stores, shopping carts or restaurants
24. Folks are nasty, behaviorally and hygienically
25. What you do in your own bed, does impact and/or infect others
26. Jealousy is a form of negative criticism. Folks will hate you for doing well
27. Love is REALLY an action
28. Being “in love” is truly a different feeling…. One never truly recovers
29. Time does not “heal all wounds”
30. No matter what, I still miss my parents
