✦ Do not scrub, rub, or pick the area
✦ Avoid sun exposure for about 30 - 40 days
✦ Avoid pools, saltwater, sweating, and intense workouts for about 5 - 7 days
✦ Some darkening during healing is normal
✦ Full healing typically takes about 4 - 6 weeks, but sometimes longer
